Our Invitations to Nature

As your Forest Therapy Practitioner, I offer a variety of invitations designed to deepen your connection with nature. These help to enhance both your mental and physical well-being. Explore how Shinrin Yoku (Forest Therapy) can transform your mental and physical health, in our slow pace sensory session.

The term shinrin-yoku was first used in 1982 by Tomohide Akiyama, a Japanese director for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. After several studies were conducted in Japan during throughout the 1980s, forest bathing was seen to be an effective therapy method. Research demonstrated the beneficial health effects of the compounds, such as phytoncide, and of the essential oils that certain trees and plants release.
